Over 19 years, the company has planned and coordinated local Sri Lankan weddings, destination weddings for overseas and expat couples, and cultural ceremonies of every kind, from traditional Poruwa and Buddhist ceremonies to church, Muslim, Hindu, and civil marriages. The team operates across all regions of Sri Lanka, from Colombo and Kandy to the South Coast and the Hill Country.

Lucky Arsacularatne founded Our Wedding Sri Lanka in 2007 with a clear purpose: to plan weddings in Sri Lanka the way they deserve to be planned, with genuine knowledge of the culture, the ceremonies, the venues, and the people involved.
Over 19 years, Lucky has planned and coordinated weddings across Sri Lanka for local couples, Sri Lankan expat families planning from USA, UK, Australia, and Canada, and international clients choosing Sri Lanka as their destination.
He is the first point of contact for every new enquiry and personally handles every initial consultation, by meeting in Colombo or by video call for overseas clients.
Lucky holds a BSc in Mathematics (Second Upper Class Honours), is a CIMA Passed Finalist, and a BCS Passed Finalist. His analytical background shapes an unusually precise approach to budget management and supplier negotiation: areas where couples frequently find that small decisions have large consequences.

The planning matters as much as the day.
We believe the planning matters as much as the day itself. A wedding that goes smoothly is the result of decisions made weeks and months before: the right venue, the right suppliers, a realistic timeline, and a coordinator on the day who knows what is coming before it arrives.
We work with couples at every stage. Some come to us at the very beginning with nothing decided; others come with everything booked and need someone to take the final steps and coordinate the day. The standard of attention is the same either way.
